ELT Methodology  is based on The "New Generation School Teacher" (a major curriculum reform project in Ukraine spearheaded by the British Council in Ukraine). It fundamentally modernizes how prospective English language teachers are trained at pedagogical universities.

Key pillars of the subject include:

  • Practical Methodology: Emphasizes communicative teaching methods where theory is immediately applied through practice.
  • Hands-on Experience: Incorporates extensive practice-teaching hours, including school observations, assisted practice, and independent teaching before graduation.
  • English as a Medium of Instruction: Methodology courses are taught directly in English, equipping future teachers to conduct classes entirely in the target language.
  • Skill-Based Assessment: Focuses on evaluating teaching competencies rather than just rote memorization.

The course is aimed at providing students with comprehensive knowledge of the legal regulation of human rights and intellectual property protection in the digital environment, taking into account the rapid development of modern information technologies and the Internet. The course focuses on the theoretical foundations and practical mechanisms of protecting privacy, personal data, digital freedoms, cybersecurity, and intellectual property rights in cyberspace. Special attention is paid to the adaptation of fundamental human rights to online environments, as well as to international and national legal frameworks governing digital relations.
